With a vast product and solution suite boasting; Control Panels, Timeclocks, Remote Controls, Dimmer Systems, Controllers, Integration Devices and Network Accessories and Controllers, their winning product range is supported by their Top Notch Levels of Engineering and Support, offering; System Design, Project & Product Support, Maintenance, Customised Panels and Product Training Classes.


POSITION & RESPONSIBILITIES

Due to forecasted growth and expansion, they are currently searching for a proven and proficient Sales Engineer to join their NSW Sales Team.

Your responsibilities will include;

  • The continued development of New Business opportunities (70%) utilising an Existing Database as well as your own contact through Electrical Contractors, Consultants and Lighting Designers
  • Managing Key Account Relationships to maintain and further develop account growth (30%)
  • Presenting products solutions to Electrical Engineers to win Specifications (projects may have up to a 2 year lifecycle)
  • Delivering exceptional Customer Service & Technical Support
  • Being a key team member in the future growth and development of the State and National Sales Presence

CANDIDATE

The Successful Applicant will ideally possess;

  • A solid background in External Sales in either Lighting, Electrical, Cabling or related products
  • The ability to present comfortably and confidently to Electrical Engineers
  • Current / historical contacts within the Lighting Designers, Electrical Contracting and / or Engineering sectors of Sydney
  • Technical aptitude - ideally an Electrical Trade Qualification
  • Excellent Communication Skills both Written and Verbal
  • The ability to Manage a Key Customer Base as well as continuing to uncover New Business Opportunities
  • The ability to work autonomously as well as part of a close knit state team
  • An individual looking for longevity and stability (people have continued with this company for up to 20 years)


REWARDS

The successful applicant will receive a Base Salary of $75K Base + Car Allowance  / Car + Uncapped Commissions as well as joining a company that is growing, has a clear direction and a very low staff turnover rate
