The latter centre has opened in May 2010 and will house over 400 cancer researchers from the University and the Children’s Cancer Institute Australia. It is the first enterprise in Australia to bring together childhood and adult cancer research at the one location and is adjacent to three large teaching hospitals, Prince of Wales, Sydney Children’s Hospital and Royal Women’s Hospital. The Faculty of Medicine runs postgraduate programs in Pharmaceutical Medicine and Drug Development.
